This looks like Markdini's Color changing deck video. His video was based on David Stone's Voile Rouge - the kickers at the end are different, but perhaps you can check that one out for ideas?

Nice work. Your hand leaves the frame of the camera almost entirely through your shuffle sequence, so it loses some impact here. You may want to reshoot the video from further away or at a better angle (if possible)

The only other thing I can point out (and this comes solely from an "in-the-know" position - I wouldn't place so much emphasis on that final blue-backed card at the end of your hindu shuffle. You draw a lot of attention to it, which could possibly tip an observant spectator further along in the effect.

Nice job.

Very nicely done Tyler!
No hesitation and smooth flow.
I don't know where somebody saw a blue back in the vid, I only saw black and red backs. :)
What music did you use? I like it.

I believe the Erdnase transfomation looks good only from your point of view and I don't really get the part with the King of Spades. First you show it black, then you cut the deck and the same red backed card seems to be on top, then you change it into a black backed card again... it doesn't sell the effect. The deck changin effect itself isn't yours and it has been posted many times before on this forum.

i liked it.

very goood.

however.
i think you should plan your splits etc. out when the deck has "changed colour" it gets a bit boring.
perhaps, one cut and a quick shuffle to emphasise the colour change, and then move on to the king part.

very good.

I also agree that there was too much emphasis on the blue card and its value. I also thought that the changing of the king back to blue only confused the color change of the deck. I would have found some way to clean up after the change without showing the blue card again.

From a technical video perspective, I did not see the blue backs until the last two parts of the Hindu Shuffle (so I only saw the blue backs twice before the change). In my case, it was a combination of video playback speed and that the display of the blue backs during the Hindu Shuffle went out of frame.

All that being said, the handling was good, nice work.

I guess I should have worded it different. I didnt mean its my effect, I just meant an effect I perform. Anyways I think you are looking to far into this. The idea of the effect is a deck change, then a spectator picks are and then I make that card change into a different colour. I used to just do the deck switch but I added this as I have done this to laymen and they love it!!! Nobody notices the card they picked is the card they saw at the beginning. I know laymen are smarter then we think, but sometimes we give them to much credit. All I know is I have done this at the bar many times and each time it gets a huge reaction. And believe me they dont give the reaction just to be nice haha. People at the bar arent shy to express how they feeel Trust me lol. I like this effect, and I will continue to do it this way. Good day to you!

Sometimes reactions don't have anything to do with your technique, or the logic of the effect. Don't expect me to to tell you: "Yeah man, you flashed a double a couple of times and your handling is weird, but laymen are not that smart anyways so you're good". If you post a video here, expect constructive criticism from fellow magicians.

The hindu shuffle was nicely done. Check out Mark Wilson's Complete Course in Magic for a very similar effect, which in my opinion is slightly cleaner.

Man you seem to think im upset about your criticism. Im not. I am a conjour at Magic video depot, I submit a new video every day there and get constructive criticism CONSTANLY!!! Its nothing new to me and I am always happy to hear feedback. And you should also remember that I have my own oppinion also. And my oppinion is that I dont care really, I like my handling, I like the effect, I like the way I present it, And I like the reaction I get.. So that is the way I will keep doing it. I got tons of comments on this effect over at magic video depot from some great magicians like Kammagic (jonathon kam), Brett Bishop, Mario Wong etc etc... who all said its a good effect but they also told me to work on a few things. And I am. There are some parts in the effect I dont like my handling and am trying to work on but the trick itself I like and wont change.

Also Gunnarkr the song I used was Inside of you by Hoobastank :D I like the song too.
