Benjamin Franklin

No one actually invented magic.. it has been a part of all existence. Magic is not an actual physical maatter or being.

Magic is the sensation, emotion and feeling that comes about as a result of the art and illusions created by the magician. The Magic is the response, that moment when the unexplainable happens.

If an answer had to be given to that question, I would have to say imo..

I created Magic!! 8) and still continue to do so.. to any magician, they create magic through the skills feats they perform for the spectator.. we create magic every time we do a colour change, vanish a coin, read somones mind.. tap into the spectators emotion and mess with their head a little.

That my opinion anyway

Jimmy Hill did after seeing Tony Currie play for Sheffield United in the 1970's. This is the truth.

It was Selwyn Froggit in the 1970s - as in "Magic, our Morris!"

And after watching Birmingham City play the following week, he invented quite a few other words.....

It was invented in England obviously, then the Americans nicked it and proclaimed it as their own

who ever it was, was a very clever chap.... bet they wished they'd copyrighted it...

you should look up the origins of the word "abracadabra"...very interesting...

Maybe the answer to "What magic is" can be found in the "cheasiest pick up lines vol 1" thread... or better yet, the ultimate goal of cheezy pick-up lines.. which is offcourse....
