I was going to post this in existing SMS or Pro PK Kit/M5 topics, but seeing as I want to know about them both, and questions that I've searched but can't find answers to, I made a new topic.

[I always want to know things that haven't been asked, and then it never get replied too *sigh* ^^]

Anyway Subterfuge I've heard a million different things about it, from excellent to extremely c***(not the best).

I read that its a magnet,

So how strong is it?
How far away do you have to be to move something?
Can it move a fork?
Is it stronger than the PK ring? Is the ring made well? (easy to break?)
How many things can you vanish? (bit of a weird question )

Now to the Pro PK kit/M5 I've heard alot of things about this too, from good - bad - sold it.

How powerful is this? This is stronger than subterfuge and PK ring correct?
By how much? 10x?
Can you really make a fork balance on the table on its prongs?
How far vertically do you have to be from say a 2pence piece for it to "jump" up?
Same question but horizontally?
How heavy is it?
Is it durable? Have you had any problems with it?
How well can you perform with this, make things move, vanish etc etc. in short sleeves?

I dislike the Raven, how do these 2 products compare with it?

Subterfuge and Pro PK Kit/M5 which gives off the better reaction overall?

Finally what would YOU recommend?

At the moment I'm more tempted by the M5. Sounds more powerful. And more things that I can do. But would you recommend something else totally different?

Lots of questions there, I'm guessing I won't get many replies as usual

But the thing is, I don't want to spend money on something I won't ever use. Then goes into a draw or things I don't use.

i dont own m5 but i do have sms

i like it alot, but i just dont like the ditching part.

sms is very strong, it can move a fork and anything like it.

Like every pk kit, you have to be quite near to the item for you to move it.

although i dont own pk ring, i believe sms is stronger.

The ring is not made with the best material but it wont break or anything like it.

you can only vanish a shimmed item.

And thanks, still sounds a bit weak, though, you can move a fork and its very strong, but have to be quite close. Can you elaborate more on that, on how close. I like to be quite perfect about things like this

The preview on Ellusionist for the M%, moving the deck made it look quite powerful. At the moment still tipped towards the M5. I will place my order on thursday, after waiting for any more replies though.

well, if i was you instead of buying an M5 pm Seige and ask about his 'Bertha' magnet products on NUMS. Monsta urtha has like the same strength as the M5 and he has all sorts of offers, deals and packs. Talk to him!

I own the SMS and I think it is perfect! Why would you want to move a fork anyway? Use IT.

you hands must be above the fork, you cant do it by standing 1 feet away from the item.

I have the M5 & the Wizard PK ring. I am disappointed with the strength of the PK ring but it does what I bought it for (ie. can wear it all the time, looks normal but can be used to stop watches on the spur of the moment), however the ring usually has to be in contact with the watch.

The M5 is much more powerful. You can stop a watch from about 3 or 4 inches away & move many shimmed items from a similar distance or through most normal thickness tables.

Don't wear it if doing table hopping as you will find spoons full of soup flying towards you if you reach across the table or get too close.

Personally the effect I like most is making someone's 2p or 1p stand up in their hand or turn over.

I predict how much change is in their pocket using a Super Sharpie, then make some of the coppers stand up in their hand. It throws them off the scent a bit as all the coins are made of metal & yet only some of the 2ps & 1ps react

I bought the M5 originally because of the great sell around it but now I've had it a while in reality I only use it for mix & mingle situations and only for a couple of effects so it works out quite expensive.

Probably a better bet is to buy the necessary bit much more cheaply on the web on its own. If you search around you can find it VERY cheaply.
