Hillary C gets becomes the first female US president in 2008. She, Selina Scott, Lorraine Kelly and I take a hot tub together and the rest you can work out for yourself...

Sorry but that's not going to happen... the stupidest thing the Democrats can do is give Hillary the thumbs up... far too many reasons the American public would say no to her. Burrack (or however he spells his name... the senator form Illinois) is most likely going to be our first black president however adn I have the funny feeling Hillary will actually be supporting him but not as part of the ticket. If he takes on a female running mate I seriously doubt it will be Hillary but there are a few out there that it could be (even Oprah  )

I'm eagerly awaiting the evening news, we should have a final answer on the big question by then... of course, I'm still betting that those honest republicans are going to do something with the numbers like they've done twice now for the W. Unlike the past two elections though I do believe they are going to be placed under a very powerful microscope this time and a major shakedown will take place... of course, heads are going to roll anyway so if anyone is up for a game of soccer the way it was played in Mexico a couple of centuries back, keep DC in mind...

I seem to remember the Florida vote last time was suspect and didn't someone find a bag or two of uncounted ballot forms some time afterwards? Sounds just like UK politics!

WE WON!

As of an hour ago CBS News stated that the Democrats took Virginia e.g. we won both houses and W is now having to deal with life in a way that will prove considerably different than he's used to... people that will tell him NO!

Did you come up with that on your own?

Cmon, David is like 13, he is allowed to be profoundly unoriginal.

US Elections

I agree with Craig here. Hilary is too much of a liability and could actually serve the nation better by staying in the Senate. Barrack Obama looks a great fresh clean contender....

Virginia sure was close. As of this morning, Allen was not yet conceding the seat, but it would not look good for him to hang on too long.

As for Rumsfeld, we are all now know one known that we have wanted to know beyond all other unknowns....he is gone

It seems that Bush hasn't learned a damned thing. He's reported on Teletext as saying that Gates has been brought in to help him achieve his goals in Iraq... like any of that's still possible. Channel 4 showed earlier this week that as soon as we pull out, in reality the country belongs to the death squads.

Congress controls the purse strings, so financing the war will become difficult in the long run. 200 Billion more? I don't think that is likely. We now need the democratc to step up to the plate and play hardball.
