Blanks to Bucks/ Easy money

Postby shanester » Nov 16th, '06, 18:55

I do a version of Blanks to Bucks using magazine cutouts and £10 notes. My problem is this:
I find the handling of this quite unnatural. Does anyone use this and have you any tips (the main problem is covering the gaff so it doesn't spread and give itself away).

David Stone did a version of this on French TV and it looked great, does anyone know which version this was (it's on YouTube at the following link:

I've used this in the past and like yourself, I've made my own up with £20's and blanks. I based mine of JB Magic's Paper to Money which is around £8.

You have to work out your own handling to suit but whilst you may think that it looks unnatural I've never been caught by a spec to date.

Monkey Magic did a verion in their second series - I think it was Marc Paul walking around an market trying to buy from traders. His handling from memory was similar to David Stones.

Just work at it and as long as you have the right cover (if you see what I mean) then you'll be OK

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

OK
with your advice just video'd (web cam) myself with several different handlings
You're right. Seen from the spec's point of view, they're not bad at all.
