id say coin unique... but it would still be better if you bought a book!

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. - Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989..

Thanks for that Mog, and of all the books/DVDs which do you think is the very best one to advice our novice to buy.

well for books id say the royal road BUT this can appear dated and maybe a bit long winded at times so id say either the Mark Wilson Cyclopedia or Nic Einhorns encyclopedia of magic... both are reasonably cheap and offer a wide range of effects and styles... DVD wise id say the "easy to master card miracles" by Ammar would be a good choice cos they do pretty much what they say on the tin....

but of course this is just my opinion which may not count for much

Nice thread :)

How could I have forgotten coin unique!?
Maybe the fact that I spent mine has blanked it from my stupid mind :(

I notice the raven, bat, healed and sealed, bitten coin etc haven't been mentioned, as expected, yet these make up so many peoples first buy I guess.
Go figure, and people say they aren't affected by advertising, lol.
