Hi,

I'm looking for a good clean watch stop effect that uses a spectator's watch.

I've found one listed online called The End, by Koontz, but have yet to see any reviews of it anywhere.

Does anyone have experience of this or any other watch stop illusions?

I'm fairly sure that "The Bat" incorporates a watch stopping routine, although I may be wrong.

I'll check and get back to ya later (unless someone else either agrees or disagrees beforehand ).

The device I've personally used the most over the years is Guy Bavli's TIME STOP... it's super easy and fairly clean... not as clumsy as some of the other methods that are out there.

The closest I can find through a google search is a DVD by Guy which features the effect. Nobody seems to be selling a dedicated ready-made gimmick.

That said, the DVD (or DVD set) will probably turn out to be better value.

Phew, I'd of thought you would post a link to one of the Berthas. I would have told you that none of us want to stop a train, just a watch

So here's the latest...

On Craig's advice, I went looking for Time Stop, but couldn't find it.

I did, however, find Guy Bavli's website, and emailed him asking where I could get it. He replied within five minutes - nice fella! His email directed me to his effect 'End of Time' at www.pro-magic.com.

Quickly bought and paid for, and my purchase arrived today.

Lo and behold - they've sent me The End By Koontz! I don't know whether this is the same thing, but it's ironic that I've come back to square one after spending all that time hunting, and four times more money than if I'd simply bought The End from a UK retailer...

Anyway, enough grumbling. I'll post a review when I've had enough time to play with it properly.
