As for gaff ideas - I have a box of about 2,000 cards and a pair of sissors and tape.

Many times I just paste stuff together and see what happenes - other times I watch TV and see (for example) a Lion eat an Antelope and wonder - can I make a card trick out of that? Then I start cutting up more cards.

so the answer is yes - lots of ideas - but the ones I liked I aleady put in the Caj Deck so....

My review of the ellusionist deck - as a deck producer, is that the deck has fantastic artwork.

I will buy one - but I think selling the DVD separately which puts the total cost to over $50.00 is a bit harsh.

I think this deck is a must.. even if you only use about 4 of the cards.
Great for adding a little extra to a card trick, or using one of the great routines available for them [army of 52 has some ideas].

TBH its good value for money as well.. especially when one of the cards can cost you £6

The box itself is a good backup, having the "3 07 5P4D3S" I now normally stick to the 3 of spades if messing about with forcing, just in case something doesn't go to plan

I admit i haven't used this deck loads, but its defiantly something I'm glad to have.

I have been tempted with this for a while as I do like to use unusual cards for a strange effect noe and then, but have always thought this deck to be overpriced for what it was.
I notice that www.magicmagic.co.uk are selling them for £16.99 which is a far more tempting price and I think I will go for it.

Is the blue version identical to the red gaff deck other than the backs or are they different gaff cards?

To my knowledge they are identical. I own the blue gaff deck (incidently also bought from magicmagic) and there seems to be no difference whatsoever between them bar the colours. Of course the blue/red are different from the ghost and tiger versions.

A pack of these arrived yesterday, and I agree with tha main review in that some of the cards are more useful than others. There are certainly some cards here which will get your imagination working overtime.

Great review and my feelings exactly. I finally broke down and ordered the set, was delivered this morning. When I went through the cards I was a wee bit thrown also. There are only a few illusions you can perform with GAFF cards before the people start to "catch on" and realize you're using a special set of cards. So pick and choose carefully. What I've done is separate the GAFFs into different batches and keep them setup in my travel case. Before I go out I setup several decks and props so I'm ready to perform without fumbling around. If you setup a bunch of card decks and can "switch" them in between other illusions you can get away with a better performance and you stand less of a chance that a spectator sees another GAFF card in your deck. Just an idea, I'll let you all know how it works out, I have a performance coming up this Thursday, mostly close up illusions, so this should be a real test of these GAFFs ...
