hi, i just brought the complete art of astonishment series, however i found that alot of the effects are card tricks. Do you know of any books with the art of astonishment quality that deal with tricks other than card and coin magic, like floating light blubs, or pulling roses out of cards(ok this aint as a card tricks) - stuff like you see in stage magic etc...

any help really appreciated

Perhaps a book more concentrated on stage magic instead of close-up. Though, as a owner of Art of Astonishment, I'm aware of a few stage tricks in the set. Run a search on stage magic and see what you come up with. Good luck.
