Isn't it, or something like it, in the Red Gaff Deck?

being a cryil trick that one card will cost somewhere in the region of 1000pounds. so probably not in the red gaff deck
seems like a nice idea. but the repetition on it is a bit iffy to say the least

You're right, I'm thinking of the covered version. My bad.

Some oik on youtube does a similar trick, so maybe it's just ... (would be editted by mods) :)

thing is you could pretty much do that trick with a simple switch, if you didn't mind it being a little less visual! the moving pips thing just seems a bit OTT to me. but then i don't like massively ellaborate gimmickery

i know a simple ego or wot not could do the trick. but did you see them scream? lol

this is my routine:

thought of card
wrote on flash paper
paper burnt
spec checks their pocket
a burnt card is in there
not there card
abracadarbra-little wave and bang :D

unfortunatly i dont think you could have someone else hold that card.
although the basic idea of it seems ok. but why burn the prediction? what purpose does it serve?

If it really was the card then I agree it would cost a lot as its even examanable, but another possibility could be using a projector (he moved and I think the place he moved his hand to was not randomn) for the visual part and then swapping the card after thats done. But then again this is only a possibility. Great trick.

everyone loves flash paper. and i hardly ever use it...i guess i thought it would be a nice break from making them pick a card and remembering it. :)

dude,

I thought I remembered posting on this thread and couldn't seem to find it. It thought that it was SinBinned. Anyway, it turns out that I accidentally posted it on another thread.

Here's the effect you're looking for:

I know that Tomo Maeda from Japan popularized this trick. I'm not sure if he made it.

You can contact the guy who made the video.

hope that helps.
