Osterlind's Easy To Master Mental Miracles

Postby pcwells » Feb 21st, '07, 10:21

Hi all,

I've been wading through the full set of Richard Osterlind's Mind Mysteries DVDs, and I absolutely love them. There's so much good material there it's literally mind boggling.

I'm now toying with the idea of spending even more dosh on his Easy to Master Mental Miracles DVDs.

How do they compare? I have to admit to being put off by the title, as it makes them sound a bit like 'Mental Mysteries Lite'.

Can anyone post a review of one of the Easy to Master discs, and spell out how they compare with the other Osterlind series?

Ta much in advance,

Pete

It's simple... if you are new (as in, less than two years of studying) to Mentalism THIS IS A MUST HAVE!

Thanks Craig.

But is the 'Easy' series markedly different to the Mental Miracles titles? Having gone through Mental Miracles, I found them fascinating, exciting and challenging, but not daunting or scary. They certainly don't leave me with the sense of trepidation that I often get from the works of, say, Luke Jermay.

So are the Easy to Master Mental miracles discs to be treated as a primer for the Mental Miracles set? Or do they sit comfortably side by side and complement each other?

Cheers,

Pete

Okay, so the four volumes arrived today courtesy of magictricks.co.uk. By now I think I just trust Richard Osterlind to give me something worthwhile.

Maybe I'll write reviews for these and the Mental Mysteries titles when I have a spare afternoon...

I have the first three of these and have to say they completley changed what I do and how I do it.
Before my friends and family thought I performed tricks. Now they think I perform miracles.
Some of it/them is better suited to audience rather than parlor work, but as the man who sold it to me said :
"You'll want to perform infornt as many people as possible these effects are so strong."

I bought 2 of these, then thought "Hmm, I'll try Max Mavin, just for a change". Max Mavin's DVD has successfully prevented my table from wobling for 6 months now. Not for me.
