No reason why you couldn't sew magnets into a pair of trousers for the same effect. Might not be quite so easy as I sew into the hems of the skirts but should still be doable.

Thinking about it actually i reckon you could sew little pockets on the inside of your trousers and pop the magnets in there. I dont think the cotton would show through especially if its black on black

i'd of thought a nice set of magnetic cufflinks, or little neo-mags sown into the cuffs might work ok...

If you have a shirt with double cuffs, neos (and a whole lot more stuff) can be slipped in there as and when required. Also consider the humble tie, not only is it a useful servante, neos or plain old fashioned sticky pads can be added at the back to retain items until needed. The back of jacket lapels also offers significant storage space for appropriate items. The best part is that none of these need any tailoring skills.

Thinking about it, you could probabaly use some iron on hem tape to fix the pockets, you wouldn't need to worry about the stitches showing through then.

Thats actually quite a good idea and probally alot more simple than my idea.
