Hi Drako,

Welcome to TM, you'll find TM a very helpful place.

As for places to start out, Mark Wilson's Complete Course is a great book to get you started. It'll give you a good overview of a wide range of magic.

Have fun here :D

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

i am sitting here trying to think of what it is i am looking for but i can-not put a name to it.... i can say things which are on my mind, but most people proberly would think I'm in fantasy land...i will try and get that book but i can't say i can for sure as i am not the richest person, even £10 is to much to spare.

though i will say this, i live one day at a time, every morning i wake up i feel empty, magic i have thought of most of life and maybe thats the piece missing.....

Have you tried eating supper before bed?

Only joking welcome to TM, hopefully you will get the answers that you are looking for.

Have you any ideas at all which area of magic you think you are interested in?

Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.

Mark's books are excellent value but, as they contain so much, are priced accordingly. You can get things like the Karl Fulves books for less than a tenner each from most bookshops and online suppliers or, if there's one nearby, try the Public Library and see what they have on the shelf.

Welcome to TM!

Something like Complete Course can be an investment. You could start gigging off that material and it will have paid for itself in no time :D.
