Go through the following Oil and Water effect using Ascanio spread.

Agua y aceite de Arturo De Ascanio

I am trying to figure out the logic....

Is this you, or did you find the video?

I find this particular routine to be a bit fidgety and there's an awful lot of over convincing going on here. So much time is spent ensuring the spectator that the two packets are four red and four black - that you begin to lose a bit of the actual power of the effect during the process.

The actual separations are nicely done and well handled, I just think the overall presentation could be streamlined to flow a bit more.

The video is not mine. I just got it at the YOU TUBE.

I agree that there is a scope for presentation to be modified, but the seuqence of steps could not modified.

There is one more video of colour changing card.

During the process of the actual effect, the displays are fine - but the beginning of the effect can easily be modified to reduce the amount of time between the display of the two piles to the actual workings of the effect. For me it's over convincing, which makes it suspicious.

Second link didn't work for me - loaded the page, but no video was there. What was that one of?

Possibly you might have to register as a member.

The second site was Peter Duffie's colour changing effect using Elmsley count. It has a good visual effect.

thanks

I would like to clarify your point that I do buy items and books and also I try my level best to get the history of each trick so that credit is given to the creator.

thanks
