I am not anti American by the way some fine looking women come from there. But how can you think we went to war with the Falklands.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

[/quote]People shot round here in the last week (and you can get a shooter round here for about £30 but they never lugars for some reason ) 0 stabbings 4 that I know of.

Like I said, name me one mass school killing spree (more than 10 victims) with a kitchen knife. And I'll name you countless with a gun. Four separate stabbings does not answer this (and there will be many more separate shootings in the states anyway).

As for Andy a wise man once said "The best form of dictatorship is democracey" And any way the Iraqi people dont want democracey so the thrust it upon people.....

Exactly. Like I said, tyranny can be rid of by guns, but democracy will only be achieved by concensus.

Also, when the war was first proposed, the idea for war was supported by a mere 55% of the U.S. population.

So a majority of Americans supported the war. Thats all you need (and I'm sure the numbers were higher at the start of the war). And on top of that, the American people still voted in Bush when they knew the reasons for the war were wrong, and that it was going pear shaped. I remember watching the news when it was polling day, and seeing the biggest turnout for years at the polls. I kinda felt proud of the American for coming out in their droves to make a statement. When they voted in bush again, I just gave up hope.

True, the patent for a stationary turbine was given in 1791 to Englishman John Barber. However, the first successfully run, self-sustaining gas turbine was built by Norwegian Jens William Ægidius Elling in 1903. (Also, we wouldn't have use for the jet engine if it weren't for the Wright brothers)

The first flush toilet was invented by the ancient Romans. There were large public lavatories where after the waste was excreted, water from local aqueducts would carry the waste into the nearest ocean or lake.

Yes, this type of rifle was indeed first made by the British. Also, the first muskets to appear in the world were scattered over Europe. But it was in 1826 that a French infantry officer made the first modern-style "rifle".

The first recorded history of tea was in China in 2737 BCE where Shennong, a legendary emperor of China put tea leaves in boiling water. Also, while there is no definite proof, the emperor supposedly drank this concoction in the afternoon.

The English did not "invent" the English language. Like all languages, it evolved out of several different languages. The modern English language has deep roots in Latin, Greek, and German.

I ment English afternoon tea like one would have in Devon and Cornwall. Out of a proper pot and
Afternoon tea (or Low tea) is a light meal typically eaten at 4 o'clock. It originates in Britain, though various places in the former British Empire also have such a meal. However, most Britons no longer eat such a meal.

Traditionally, loose tea would be served in a teapot with milk and sugar. This would be accompanied by various sandwiches (customarily cucumber, egg and cress, fish paste (bloater), ham, and smoked salmon), scones (with butter, clotted cream and jam — see cream tea) and usually cakes and pastries (such as Battenburg, fruit cake or Victoria sponge). The food would be often served in a tiered stand.

While afternoon tea used to be an everyday event, nowadays it is more likely to be taken as a treat in a hotel, café, or tea shop, although many Britons still have a cup of tea and slice of cake or chocolate at teatime. Accordingly, many hotels now market a champagne cream tea.

Remember, the fellow defending America's dignity on this thread is the same nincompoop who was thinking of putting a fake suicide effect on youtube.
Why don't you just do a fake shooting in a school where they all come back to life?????

Wanting to put something like that on youtube shows how obsessed with morbidity and irresponsible the bulk of American youth are.

I bet the people in your school are shi**ing themselves!

Like I said before, Scotland is part of the UK but not British. Also, Pfizer is an American based company. They just happened to have a research facility in England.

No, those percentages were the numbers at the start of the war.
