Hi Lefteye,

Two things:

1) You need to brush up on your English.

"It's clearly not racist. Your to politically correct you've gone blind."

What you should have said was "It's clearly not racist. You're too politically correct, you've gone blind.

Study the differences.

2) Why else would anyone mention "sweet and sour balls" ?? Because the person is oriental !! As in, this is a typical dish on a Chinese or Japanse menu. This is a racial slur. If you have a logical reason why this could be incorrect then I welcome your response, but please respond with correct English syntax. I tire of reading badly written English.

Regards,

Shane

Oh come on. Now you're picking on my spelling. Grow up mate.

And again, he was joking. It was not racist, why would he want to hurt his feelings? I'm not even going to bother it's not my argument. You get too easily offended though.

Oh, and what is "Japanse"? Also, there should not be a space between "oriental" and "!!" The same applies for '"sweet and sour balls" ??'

Best wishes,

Rob

If you're not going to bother........er....... why did you then, after all, it's not your argument ? Quite puzzling.

(Fair comment on my syntax though....people with glass houses should not throw stones ;-)

All the best,

Shane

Yep I'm not going to bother. But I just wanted to slip that little grammatical error you made right in there simply because I'm a c**t.

But anyway, agree to disagree and all that jazz.

Don't be too harsh on yourself. You're not a c**t.

Woah woah woah! For a second, I was like.. "WOW! I've got a lot of comments!". Then it's all about racism and stuff.

No need guys. No offense taken :).

Cheers Steve, I had quite a shock logging back in this morning to discover that my chirpy mid-afternoon tongue in cheek throwaway line (in context with the question at the beginning of the thread) had kicked off an Atkinsonesque racial storm!

The artist who does not rise, descends.

To be fair, it probably did blow up out of all proportion. I suppose it reminded me of Big Brother. For instance, if the person was Indian and someone had used a throw away comment such as "hmm, I smell poppadums, but I don't kow why" instead of sweet 'n' sour balls then you would have seen my point. Anyway, lets just forget the whole thread. I for one do.
