No, I agree Abraxus.. totally.
I think I started buying up magic stock in bulk simply because I wished I had been doing magic from a young age.. so I was playing catch in terms of where I would love to be by now.. that just developed into CUPS.
Realistically, I dont think i really need anything for the next 3 or 4 years, seriously, I have the rest of Card college, Apocoplypse, Tarbell, Corinda, Anneman, books by Phil Goldstein and Bob Cassisy, Banachek products, Osterlind mid mysteries, multiple Sankey products, numerous michael ammar dvds, All 3 Art of Astonishment books, David Stone, Davd Roth etc etc. Its ridiculous really.
Im really making an effort to stop buying and just focus on what I have because one of these books covers months of work, and more in most cases.
I have a pretty methodical approach to learning but I think the more I own the more I am going to feel overwhelmed, so if I stop where I am, I have a pretty good Idea of how to work through what I have. And Im coming along nicely so I think Ill stop where I am and just carry on working through the mountain of mental wealth waiting for me. Maybe just one more purchase to say goodbye to cups though eh?
