Hey im trying to update my profile, but everytime i try and update my pic, it does not seem to be working? Any ideas what Im doing wrong, ive checked all file sizes etc ?

Did you check the pixel width and height? That's what I had trouble with when I first uploaded my avatar.

the pic: if you've checked pixels and file size and all that jazz then there's no reason it shouldn't be working really, quite strange.

Grrr still ot working...im a designer I blimin build websites, and i cant even upload an avatar, feel free to laugh at me :oops:

Then, you should be able to interpret why the file won't upload from the errors given.

The database engine is performing a simple set of tests on your proposed image, and usually gives a reason as to why it won't upload. By using your 'website building' knowledge applied to the message given, the answer should be clear!

Just to be sure, the Avatar spec is a maximum of 8144 bytes, 80 x 80 pixels and either uploaded or gallery avatars, none linked to from another website. Hope that helps,

The sig is supposed to be text and there's a 255 character limit. No idea how that works with the image sigs displayed (other than a lot of 'em, present company excepted of course, are far too big :twisted: !)
