Coin Dumper

Postby lindz » Jun 12th, '07, 14:46

Ok I have just got a coin dumper delieved today as a surprise gift. I have never used one before and during practise with it I have found out that it talks, so my question is does anyone know what sort of shop could make and attach some fabric around it {like the fabric on the raven} I could do it myself but would rather get it done properly because I'm pretty useless at these type of things.

would it be possible to buy some self adhesive felt. feels a little like pool table felt on one side, self adhesive on the reverse. readily available from hardware stores, craft stores etc (in Australia at least). i imagine would be easy to affix?

if they use scraps of velor material it may not cost you much at all.

Self-adhesive Fablon would be ideal.

A quick search gave me this: http://www.poolewood.co.uk/acatalog/copy_of_Baize.html

...but I'm sure you could find a better price

In the UK, the felt pads (adhesive backed) come in a 'various sizes' pack at most supermarkets for putting on furniture to stop it marking your precious wooden (or cheapo veneer ;)) flooring.

However, an even SIMPLER suggestion, which wouldn't impose on the capacity of coins held, would be simply to use Duct tape. Works for me ;)
