Hi. I'm new with magic and I need a bit of help.

Struggling with an effect? Any tips (without giving too much away!) you'd like to share?

Every time I get the urge to buy something, I can feel the money burning a hole in my virtual pocket. But all I need to do is come here, then I realise I don't need the gimmicks, and the other tricks seem staged, and the packet tricks can generally be done with sleights I already know or am learning. "Excellent" I think, "These guys have saved me money"

then I find out you can buy bicycle seconds for 99p and go to buy some and end up with £25 worth of cards!

you b@stards

Okay. Thank you to everybody for the advice. And thanks for the comments about the raven. Instead of buying it I'm going to put that money towards some good magic books starting with Mark Wilsons Complete course in magic.
