I'll presume you're talking about the end display of the Jacks. In order to make them flip over, every time...you need to position the cards as Harris suggests. You may have to experiment a bit to see if the cards need to be offset more and/or less than described. I use a U.S. Fifty Cent Piece to hold the three cards in place. The rest of the deck, I divide into 3 smaller packs. Place the small blocks of cards on each of the Jacks, where the edge of the block...meets the upper white border of the Jacks, nearest the back design. Presuming of course, you're using cards with a white border. Let each block of cards slide naturally off to their sides onto the close-up mat. You will need to make sure most of the weight is on the Jacks...this is important!! If most of the weight, of the blocks of cards, shift towards the Close-Up mat...you will need to reposition them.
When lifting the Fifty Cent piece, I have found that picking it up from one edge is best. Lever the coin up to it's milled edge (I use just my thumb and index finger), while keeping a slight constant pressure onto the cards. Once it is perpendicular to the deck, lift the coin all the way off...higher, so that the Jacks will have enough clearance to flip over.
Hope that helps. It really takes practice to get it right, each and every time. Put the work into this effect and I'm sure you'll enjoy it's rewards.
