I have been always fascinated of the tenkai palm. But actually, I don't never do it. Why? Because it seems so "risky", you know? The angle thing and so on... For example: You have a random pile of dealt cards on table and you wanna execute the tenkai. You all know that it isn't so "clean" way to pick up a card from the "pile", that is from tenkai position. The card seems so stuffed in the hand, so it don't really look you pick up a card from the random dealt cards from the table.

Any help? It seems so "unfair" to use misdirection for execution of the move, maybe is just me, but I would be more satisfied if the spectator would actually -see- me pick up the card from the pile.

But is it really so detectable? If I do the move while they are looking?

Tenkai is good for showy stuff, but lateral palm or gamblers cop is better for close up naturalness.

The tenkai palm is really good if you can do it if not though you dont need to worry theres loads of other ways of concealing cards for example the classic palm.

Use the Tenkai when the environment you perform in allows for it, don't try to change the environment in order to Tenkai a card, use it when the situation allows.

Otherwise use other methods as said, a gamblers cop works well as does the classic palm and if you can one hand top palm, all the better.

out of all the palms I use, tenkai is the one I use most.

Think outside of the box with it...I use the tenkai all the time...and not just for palming (figure that one out )
