Does anyone have an idea of the worth of"13 Steps to Mentalism" in the original 13 magazine format?

You mean you have the separate lessons vs. a book version, right?

To be honest with you, I'd recommend checking with someone like Bill Palmer of Richard Kaufman... industry people that know publishing and paper value.

Yep. I tried googling but couldn't find any references anywhere.

To be honest I didn't even know that is how they originally came out.

It'd be a laugh to take them to the Antiques Roadshow and see how much they REALLY know. It might be a good bit of publicity if you can convince them to let you do a trick.

As if! I love old books and have a nice collection. Mainly illustrated children's books as it happens, but no. I wouldn't sell these. They are nice to own though.

I would also like to get a hold of the original Jinx's too some day.

Micky Hades has the entire set of the original JINX magazines for sale at the moment, and for a very fair price. The only problem is the cost of shipping to the UK, which, albeit understandably, is incredibly high.

You can contact Micky via his website, if you wish.

You have no idea how many times I've thought of nailing them with something of that sort... I was tempted to take a Thayer Talking Buddha in some time ago. I also had one of the MERLIN cabinets from the Henning show (only 3 made). It would have been fun...

AbeBooks has booklet one and booklet three for about £5 each. I couldn't find any others though.

EDIT: I just found booklet ten for about £4.
