Ah i see? So basically you have to use a centre tear, mentalists pad, or some other way of obtaining the info, and then you just use this ET thing to amplify the presentational value of the effect......i get ya. Sounds like an intresting gimmick though

- honest opinion now, if you weren't a magician, and someone told you what this thing was (and more to the point - how its used by magicians to make magical effects happen).....would you think it was worth the money?

it all depends on how you use it. I think it is great value but i use mine in a very serious manner, i do not use it as a joke or a shock effect. It is used to amplify a 'psychic occurrence'. To be honest it is worth it if you are going to use it a lot.

Ermm - pass!

Can't say I've ever tried that one...and I don't really have enough experience with dead frogs to be able to offer an informed opinion

I really dont think it will be strong enough, but this is definately worth a try.

All I have to do now is keep an eye out for one.

You can light a small halogen light with it. Just hold it in your hand. if i remember right, the DVD has the method, not watched it in ages so will need to check.

That IS a pretty intresting question there actually. I have agree with the other guy, and say i dont really know too much about dead frogs, but if you could cause it to twitch a little bit (as if you were injecting small quantities of life into it or something). That might mess with a few heads.

You'd either need to carry around a dead frog with you (might make your pocket smell a bit!) or perform the effect in a biology dissection class at college / university etc.....other than that i cant think of an everyday situation where you could do it.

I imagine that woul look pretty freaky to anyone if they saw you do that though. It certainly would put a new twist on the whole 'revival' thing - e.g bringing a "dead" (and probably abit still a bit cold too) house fly back to life.

But either way, im liking the possibilties of a gimmick such as this. I may very well have to invest in one i think.

P.S) fair play for asking bout the frog thing. Quality post mate.

Do I have to obliterate a pair of shoes?
Can I use it in conjucntion with trainers?
Is it transferable to other footwear or can I buy accessories to set it up in dress shoes and trainers?

dms not needed.

obliterate, no. alter permanently, yes

trainers work very well for me.

accessories can be bought to use with additional pairs although other setups are possible using easily sourced materials.

dress shoes may also need an extra something depending on the type, andalthough i cannot be more specific, it is something very common

Finally ordered mine and can't wait for it to arrive !! Its coming from USA though so may have to wait a week or so. I have so many applications for this. I know how it works already and what comes in the kit so Im already purchasing the recommended extras and making enquiries at shoe repair shops re prices. When it gets here it should be installed within a day or two and then.. ill post my review :D

where are you getting yours from I.D? Im thinking of getting mine from Penguin.

Also - from what I understand the gimmick is stored in a hole in the shoe which has to be professionally done by a cobbler. How would I go about asking for this (I don't want him to think im exporting drugs or something) and how much should i expect to pay?
