Hint: Do it a few times and make a note of the final number. Once you have a list of numbers, do it again and check the symbols at all those numbers.
Its clever, and I think there is something there which has potential. Perhaps a double sided card with a different order of symbols on each side. Do it on two people, turning the card over between the two, and then revealing the two symbols.

I remember that one when I first discovered Ellusionist way back when.. very simple, but it gets to you until you eventually figure it out.

I've emailed it to a few people and none of them seem to get it.

Just goes to show.. simple methods get the greatest reactions.
