Why the heck not :D

And now my loan has come in, I'll be perfectly happy to leave my car at home and indulge in a few more of those £1.33 pints!

Good plan. Its right next to the main street, so we could go film there.

Hmm :?

Im getting worried about the next meet now.

Every time we've met up so far, my mum has ended up in hospital.

Really looking forward to this now - I've got a few cool things I've been working on which I'd love to show you guys, plus the idea of doing a video is pretty exciting - can we make this happen? Afraid I don't own a video camera, although I do have a camera with... a ... video... erm... function... so... we could... use... that... possibly..

Ha ha, well, I think a couple of people already have a camera, so we could use them.

My only question is what would we do with it? Youtube isnt great as a number of threads have already pointed out. We will think of something, I'm sure.

Mark, when can we expect those pictures?

I'm in. I was disappointed to miss the last one and I'm looking forward to seeing what ideas I can steal from you all. Ha! Also, have just got a copy of Sinister so if anyone has any other Outlaw products I wouldn't mind seeing them in action.

Best wishes
Gary

I think we should point out/make it clear that people don't have to either appear on the film or perform magic if they don't want - new magicians might just want to come and say hi! :)

Just a quick thought, if you intend to film some tricks involving members of the public does someone need to come up with some sort of release form for the spec to sign so you can post or use the film you make?

Wouldn't want to get into one of those 'when good ideas go bad' threads

I dont think we should need a release form, since its not going on TV and we're not doing any malicious editting.

What does everyone else think?

Simply asking them, on camera, "You don't mind being filmed, do you?", and recording their response, will give you all the permission you need to post the resulting vid :D

(....Of course, if they punch your lights out, you should probably take that as a 'No' )

Its just occured to me that this thing is happening next week

Farlsborough, I will bring your giving thread item then and there, I wont have time or money to send it off before then I'm afraid.

Mark, sorry to keep asking, but when can we expect the pictures! I wanna show my friends that I do actually do something interesting on a weekend...occasionally...once a month.
