I want t know if I can make one at home?
if yes HOW?!

The reality is, such methods are rarely employed in today's world. However, if you want to use this idea as a means for loading a billet I'd suggest you look at Guy Bavli's early Mentalism videos. He has a Billet Knife handling that's quite good (I've used it many times) and it beats trying to pull things together on your own or paying hundreds of dollars for a specially made device.

As Mr Browning suggested, methods such as the billet pencil, to me, at least, seem rather outdated.

What I would believe to be more favourable is to simply study a few good billet switches. Elliot Bresler offers a fantastic ebook on this subject, named 'Switchcraft', at the mere price of $20 (for it's content, the bargain of a lifetime. I believe it to be worth it's weight in gold. Or it's filesize in gold. Whatever).

Firstly asking for help and advice, and then insulting TM members, when they offer it, is very likely to cause some problems here.

I'm sure you're aware, but typing in capitals is CLASSED AS SHOUTING!

Again, it just seems rather a rude thing to be doing, when folks are going out of their way to try to help you.

you get a pencil and a very very sharp knife. You slice down the side of the pencil so you have it chopped in half, halfway.

You then put marks in it at ever 1/4 of the way up, horizontally.

At these grooves, you pour in a henna mix, and wait for it to crumble and dry (a henna mix contains lemon juice, henna leaves e.t.c...a simple search on google shall tell you all that you need to know)

Once it is dry, you have a redish tinge in different parts of the pencil. On the highest mark, you put in a small neo magent (once again, covered in henna so that it is camoflaged)

On the lowest groove, you put in a small piece of bannana peel (once again...very small, and covered in henna)

Congratualtions, you are done!

Once you have made this, I'll teach you how to use it. Though once you see it in its full glory, it should become obvious, even if it does sound strange over the net.

Let us know when you are done, post up pictures, and we'll tell you if it is correct or not, and then directions on how to use it!

That's the method I use as well, just slightly different colourings. Nice to see people being nice to the guy even if he was outrageously rude to someone else trying to help him

well at the end of the day, he wanted a billet pencil, and as they aren't available any more, I thought I would tell him. He wasn't getting an answer, so I thought I would help him. Let us hope he enjoys making it, and finds use for it!

I make my billet pencils slightly different.

Instead of the banana peel, I actually use a little of the fat from a 10oz rump steak.

I find it helps make the billet pencil a little meatier, which is what you need if you really must work with billet pencils in this day and age.

Never tried the fat from the rump actually! I can see how that would work really well...but with the consistency of the fat, is it possible to henna it?

And I suppose the fat from sirloin wouldn't work would it? Not the correct consistency
