Milgram conducted an immortal experiment.

Knowing about the experiment beforehand this was probably my least favourite part of The Heist.

Interesting nonetheless.

Apparently there was a follow up experiment to the milgram study. I dont remember the name of the psychologist, but he believed that perhaps the people in the study figured that the person was not really getting shocked. So instead he devised an experiment where something did get shocked, and that something was puppies.
If I recall correctly, only around 1/2 of the men gave the full shock to the puppy, but all of the women did! Not very pink and fluffy!

there have also been other experiments when it comes to authority - one of the most famous of which is Zimbardo's prison study - conformity can be a very interesting subject, and conformity is something that I did a whole performance on at the end of last year - it is something that I have strong beliefs about. Once again, this may have contributed to my interest in psychology

i remember a show either on bbc2 or channel 4, quite possibly called the Experiment, where they did the Jail test.

lasted 3 weeks i think, fascinating...late 90s i think it was on...
