I know that it has little to do with magic but just out of conversation, is anybody going anywhare nice on holiday this year.
I'm off to Malia in crete in July, it'll be sooooo HOT Last time i was there i was working there for a couple of month, just for the summer and the Greeks really loved the card tricks and magic. Reallly nice people, and the food is just too nice!

My sister worked in Crete last year dancing at hotels and she did a show at the Malia Beach Hotel, very posh, I felt very out of place sitting there watching, needless to say I stayed somewhere a lot cheaper!

Where abouts did you stop. Me and my mate who were working had a 3 different apartments, one of which was in the old town, must have got lost about a dozen times when we first mooved, the narrow roads wnt all over the place, good fun though, trying to as directions in my poor attempt at greek.

Does anyone know of any Magic 'themed' hotels out in the med somewhere? I've seen adverts in The Stage before for magicians and speciality acts for themed hotels abroad, but never seen the hotels advertised for holidays!

I've tried to find them to actually book a holiday, but with no success so far...

Yeah, I've seen the magicians ads but none of the venues themselves.

I wasn't actually staying in Malia, I was in Rithymna, which was where my sister was based and where 3 of her hotels were, we had to drive to Malia 'cos she said it was the nicest since the stage was next to the pool so the audience sat on one side whilst the show was on the other, it was vary nice!

Barcelona in June so I might be tempted to do a swift impression of The Great Soprendo but I doubt anyone will notice. Then possibly a week or two in September in that veritable hotbed of Magical Mystery - Darkest Dorset - where nobody will notice either!

Canada in august and Holland on saturday...

I don't think I'm going anywhere in the summer but at Christmas I'm off to Florida then to VEGAS!!!WOOHOO!!!

Well I'll be going to Romania, I go there to do charity work every year. I guess I will be visiting my sister again, it's Portugal this summer, dancing in very expensive casinos so I doubt I will get to see the show. Sometimes I wonder how she puts up with it, a couple of hours of work a day in a hot country with free food and accomodation right next to a beach for six months at a time, I would go out of my mind with sheer boredom!

Still i might have to bring in last years holiday of a 10 night cruise!! Yah to you!!!
