By Edge grip I am assuming you mean the concealment popularised by Roth (Hanging coins etc) and NOT edge palm which is a completly different concealment for multiple coins.

First of all, edge grip is an advanced concealment, and really should not be attempted until you have the basic concealments mastered (by basics I mean, thumb, classic, high finger and low finger, demanche and maybe tenkai pinch). I will assume that you have.

I learnt edge grip from the books Expert Coin Magic by David Roth and Coin Magic by Richard Kaufman. Both books have big sections on the uses of edge grip. You could also check out certain Roth DVD's if you want a more visual look at the move. As I remember Ammar describes the edge grip quite well on the volume of Easy to Master Coin Magic that covers the hanging coins. Garty Kurtz has done a lot of work on the move as well (check out the book Unexplainable Acts)

The most important thing with edge grip is the angles. The moves looks incredibly clean as long as you keep the coin in the right position to the audience. You should be okay with this though (especially if you have any experience of working with jumbo coins). Remember when the coin is in edge grip it does not recieve any support from the palm or lower phalanges of the finger or thumb. It is hard at first and the coins will keep slipping but keep at it. Walk around all day with the coin in edge grip and you will have it in no time. For best results you want to use soft half dollars (such as walking liberties) as this really helps

I book you really want to get is coins on the edge by Kainoa Harbottle. He has really revolutionised this move offers a number of handling tips that really make the move easier and better to use. But it is an advanced book so make sure you are ready for it.

Hope that helps. Need any more information PM me.
