Yes, I have shown an interest in your videos out of curiosity and PM'd you, but just because I may have expressed an interest in something doesn't mean I'm going to be a human billboard and provide free advertising for you.
I cannot comment on whether your products are good or bad, as I don't own any of them (though I have heard from people they are extortionately priced for what they are) so I cannot comment upon them.

Thanks for sending the videos Karl. And as you asked me to post something about them then yes, ladies and gents, Karl's videos are good if you can imagine Paul Shane from Hi-De-Hi performing Gelleresque feats. He does what he says he can do and it all looks fairly entertaining.

You offert a spectator a 450 pages Blank book.
Spectator open it, and you aske him to select any page he likes, and to write at the bottom of the page, the page number he fils like it, and once this is down, in the same blank page, aske him to write a frase of about 10 words,
(Spectator , becomes the writer, not a bad idea ?)

Once this is finish, at 10 yards away, you describe the meaning of frase, and after start spelling letters, and ends up, saying the wholle frase.

Ok back to book test. I also like the one out of self working mental magic but then again should you use cards to force. OOO gives me an idea.

:? :( Ok... I just stole this post to step in in that Abraxus as well as Tomo have picked up in the past six months or so where Siege, Dale and I kind of left off when it comes to sharing concepts and "assets" that are, in my opinion PRICELESS.

For various reasons I've not had the privilege of reading and studying Tomo's material but I have had the honor of watching Abraxus grow-up in this field over the past three years or so... he's downright amazing and speaking for some of the other old farts around here, we're ALL impressed by his coming out of his shell after "lurking" in the shadows for so long.

Now Sybil on the other hand (our friend with the multiple identities) reminds me of another amazing wannabe from the Midwestern U.S. who thinks steady gigs at $500.00 a shot is big money and makes him one of the "big shots" on campus... Hate to break it to you Sybil but if no one knows who you really are no one will be able to give you credit for a bleeding thing (other than being an arrogant jerk in the forum)....

PAY ATTENTION: I'm the pet bear around here, I'm the only one allowed to grow or even bark occasionally when people are being down-right ignorant (such as you seem to be doing at present). There is even a sign around here someplace (I think Mandrake hid it) warning new members about not poking or provoking the American Bear. Thus, I am extending to you a simple suggestion; put your actions where your big mouth is and start contributing. If you can impress me and the other old guys around here a fraction as much as Tomo, Abraxus and some of the others around here do THEN you might be able to earn some bragging rights along side the right to toss a tantrum about people panning your product or your act or whatever it may be.

Let me explain something to you when it comes to "Producing" anything... no matter what you do some prick is going to bitch about it. It's impossible to not have this happen. Dr. Todd's Book Test is, in my opinion, a very clever and fun concept. At the same time it may not be "practical" to everyone in that it's not very flexible. It is however, one of four gaffed Books I own for book tests and I've used it in a few show settings with strong results. HOWEVER, most pros do not use gaffed books or do so only for specific reasons, such as how Jon Stetson exploits the triple whammy found in Final Flash Back. On the other hand, I happen to love Ted Karmilovich's improvisational variant to MoAB as well as Paul Brook's BROOK TEST... I prefer any system that keeps me hands free of any kind of gaff, restriction or dependency so that I can replicate the demonstration anytime, anywhere on demand.

Why?

Because if I can't people that have seen me perform and do a Book Test will instantly realize that I cheat and have a special book or something that allows me to do it. In other words a gaffed book is rarely practical, are typically way over-priced (especially in that most use known systems or slightly tweaked versions of known systems).

Anywho... end of lecture.

Yes I agree, that your test book NON GAFED is great

Yes I agree, that your test book NON GAFED is great

But when i did talk yesterday about my own one
I did'nt mention anyway that the book I was using was a gafed book.

You just enter a room, ask any one to take any book he wants from a shell, memorize the entire book in 60 seconds, give back the book to spectator, and ask him to freeely open at any page he likes.

after you just start, spelling, descibing the scene, and end up reading from there, up to a whole paragraphe.

anyway, see it here:

But the website does not tell us anything more than you have in your posts. Is it possible to post a video of this book test in action, say in a bookshop or library, which should easily be possible given the blurb you have supplied.

I do like the IBT and the Hateful Page (The new Abraxus offering) preceisly for the their un-gaffed nature.

In following Craig's plea, could we see the evidence for this amazing book test?

Another thing that I'm picking up on is that what you describe Karl, is NOT a "Book Test" but more of a demonstration in super memory... that or your description (ad copy) needs some serious help...

I'm picking up on the thought that maybe you used to hang around here under another name -- Michael Krass or Krauss... something along those lines. I could be wrong but your wordage and actions are seriously similar.

TO MR TODD
its obvious that in the site you dont find more then what i have allready sad here.
If i do here, it will be exposure,
and if i do in the site, what for am I selling?
_________
The site description, only define few of the many possibilities you can have with THE ELECTRONICAL MENTAL MAT;

tHE OLD BEAN , has sad somewhere that paying $1250 for a couple of magnet.....
There is absolutly nothing concerning magnets here.
We are talking about an incrustated micro procesor, functioning with FM frecuency, who do the action.
__________________
It can be used in many diferent ways (just for your information old bean, there are other ways to stop watches , then using magnets)

This mat, can be used independly alone, with the help of a pad, but there is more:

It can also be used in conjunction with cesaral ESP calculator, using the marker as a reciever to:

Someone whant a video? send me a pm and will send you a FREE video of my mat, in conjunction with cesaral ESP reciever.
_______________
If you use cesaral ESP item, you can then combined together with the mat.

But the mat is TOTALLY INDEPENDENT.

VERY SERIOUSLY SPEEKING (for mr todd)

"YES", you can enter the national library, ask someone to pick up any book he wants to, ...................
You just enter a room, ask any one to take any book he wants from a shell, memorize the entire book in 60 seconds, give back the book to spectator, and ask him to freeely THINK ON A PAGE NUMBER AND open aT THAT PAGE.
after you just start, spelling, describing the scene, and end up reading from there, up to a whole paragraphe.
_____________________________

Someone has just sad here, that this was more like a MEMORY TEST, then something else. (why not, as a plus)
WRONG:
First you memorize the wholle book, and after "ask him to freeely "THINK ON A PAGE NUMBER", AND open aT THAT PAGE." .

Forgeot to say:
THE PAGE ITS NEVER MENTIONED BY SPECTATOR
I dont use playing cards, or similar......

Why don't you just take your shoddy little mat, confused book test and poor Uri Geller act and stick them where you believe the sun shines.

Either that, or set up a more professional website and pay for advertising.
You are human spam with nothing to contribute to any conversation except self-congratulations, an attitude that's more arrogant than that of Robbie Williams and poorly executed advertising ploys.

For someone who claims they are performing for the Queen of Sheba and much in demand in Vegas, you certainly seem to have a lot of time to concern yourself with petty trifles. A lot of things sell by word of mouth and I think the words from the mouths of people who have witnessed your arrogant, agressive, badly articulated posts are not going to be the best sales PR for you.

Quit whilst you still have a tiny modicum of self-respect left. In fact, return to Hi-De-Hi - you were good in that!

It is Dr Todd, my friend.

I was not after exposure, just a nice clean bit of copy on the website that advertised the booktest. It was not clear from your previous posts that the book test needed the mat, and it is still not clear from your current posting. If it does, then I am not sure I see the logic in it.

I walk into a library with a mat and do the booktest? What is impromptu about that? IBT is stronger, as are many of the more traditional approaches. Check out Doug Segal's website and video clips of doing a booktest in a train station and a book shop. They look great.

What I do like about your version is the full page reveal, but Abraxus's version can do that as well, and it only costs 40p....

I have to say the cartoon phone on the mat really detracts from the prop. I like the UFO stuff and mental table better as they appear more plausible. You also learn more about precisely what comes with the product and how long it will take to produce.

TOD
you are mixing things up
What i advertise to sell in my site, is not a book test.
Its an electronical mental mat, with an undercover microprocesor, that can execute many diferents features, and among then, there is this test book.
"Only as an extra feature."

You dont have to have with you entering a library the mat.
The electronical mat has NOT ither bein concieved to stop watches,
nither to make playing cards to moove.

all those above effects are just EXTRA FEATURES for the mat,
besides his primaries mental effects, in conjunction with Cesaral ESP effects

Those above mentioned effects where just added to make the item more exciting.
