Hi Tomo if you mean straight away, as soon as you hit return, then no.

Hmm.

Google fascinates me.

How odd. If I select "pages from teh UK" it's fine, but if I select "the web" it pops up.

You going through the University's server?

Though I see you're in Cheshire so I suppose that's a no.

I hope it's not one of those malicious dialogue box thingies.

I'm connecting through my ISP directly to Google. It only does it when I type in "windows re". Looking at the results, there's a lot of sections. It pulls in info from other sites, so it makes sense that a web site supplying a picture would have a duff certificate.

Ah! Got it! I'm super cautious about certificates and things. In Firefox, I have all the alerts on.

EDIT: I have Fasterfox installed, set up to do a prefetch. That's why I'm getting the pop-up.

I think Tomo must be giving his monitor "that look" and hypnotising his part of the internet!

Tee hee. My broadband connection is so sluggish it might as well be catatonic  There's no nasty botnet traffic on it. I just live a little too far from the exchange to be useful.

my old psych teacher typed in "naked ladies mudflaps" - he was austrailian and tried to find the kappa logo...he saw them on some mudflaps...he tried many combinations of which included "naked ladies back to back", and "black naked ladies" e.t.c

typed in "naked ladies mudflaps" thinking it would work, and got a virus of porn on his work laptop...

needless to say, I have always wanted to know if it was true, but never had the guts to find out and type it in myself...
