Help Needed - Mask

Postby Beardy » Sep 12th, '07, 20:24

Hey guys. I'm off to this girl I know's 18th next month (just after mine - hint hint ;)) and she is having a masquarade thing. I have decided to go as the Phantom of the Opera...angel of music and all that. The one thing I haven;t been able to find yet, is a decent mask - not that cr@p you see for 99p which is plastic.

I'm just wondering if you guys/girls know anywhere that does a decent half-mask phantom style - or even have one yourself that I could rent! ;)

Cheers people!

Love

Chris

I dont know anywhere that you can get them without going directly to the place, but when i went to cirque de soleil they sold high quality masks in the gift shop. I dont know if you can buy them online but it might be worth a look!

I was born with Multiple Personality Disorder. Luckily, they are all me, they just dont always get along...

I'm sureone else asked a very similar question a year or two back - I think they made their own mask and posted a picture on here. A quick basic Search didn't find anything but it'll be on TM somewhere!

there seem to be some nice (not plastic) ones out there fairly cheap, the official one looks quite nice.

in Brighton we have TONNES of fancy dress shops etc - they sell the cheap stuff mainly, but have MASSIVELY thick order books (like a really big Argos catalogue) with loads of high quality ceramic masks etc in - could try googling fancy dress shops in your area (if you have all the stuff already to be the Phantom - you can borrow my V mask and go as 'codename V from V for Vendetta)

see linky for a piccy:

You might need a wig though - just thought you would want the option - PM / email me if you need it :D

Beardy you so pretty you dont need a mask.

Cant you make one? cant be that hard some glitter and feathers you be well away.

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

I think that could well have been me. I just went down the local fancy dress shop and got a basic mask and painted it a bit and added a couple of bits, it's the way forward, shows you've put some effort into the night!
no idea where those pictures are though.

Custom R&S decks made to specification - PM me for details
