BHS

Postby Chris » Nov 1st, '07, 10:59

After seeing a previous post about BHS selling cheap magic, I went to investigate!!!

I spent £16 and came home with a money printer, pen thru, and six dlites........

Ok firstly quality of dlites was shockingly cr**....which was to be expected

the pen thru, wasnt to bad for a couple of quid....

and the money printer was actually resonably nice, for the price.....

-However I use dlites alot, and to my utter horror, last night when the trickle treaters came a knocking, me and my mate were pulling dlites out of their candy bags.............AND EVERY CHILD SAID !!!!

"we know what they are there just fake thumbs with lights in"

now some of these kids were as young a four!!

THE CHEAP REPRODUCTION OF CR**PY MAGIC MUST END!!!!!!!

-So go to BHS now, evey TMer and buy this cheap cr**py Magic to stop the millions of stocking filler mums this christmas destroying some of our most sacred secrets........IF WE BUY IT ALL THEY CANT HAVE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO GO NOW

FLY MY PRETTIES

Can I just say, if Dlites are used creatively, they are VERY magical—and would probably fool even the kids who bought their BHS version...

For example, recently I took stock of the Dlite Flight, and it's changed my perspective of the Dlite... even Mrs Seige was baffled, which—bearing in mind I have new magic arriving daily—is a good sign!

It re-mystifies the Dlite, and gives another dimension to it...

Correct me if I'm wrong but...

If we all go out and buy BHS's entire stock of third-rate D'Lites, they'll decide that selling rubbishy magic tricks is a great moneyspinner and make it a standard part of their stock - halloween or no.

Sorry, but I have to agree.

That gimmick is a shameful ending to a good Dlite performance, as it reeks of gimmick. It takes away a lot of the magic for me. And the price is ludicrous, too!

i Think in the right circumstances, and if I you made one yourself that wasnt maybe as cheesey...it cud be nice...especially if the light floated up and out of the bag/box into your hand to start with....
