I have been urged to write a few lines about our first ever Magic Night of IMB Ring 371 in Iceland: Töfrakvöld HÍT.

It was 1. November and we had a venue for over 200 people. We were sold out and could have had another full house, according to demand.

The first half was with Icelandic magicians. Our host was Bjorgvin Franz, a well known actor and magician here in Iceland. The first magician to appear was our Ring President, Jon Vidis. After him was Lalli, then Ingo and our mentor and idol, Baldur Brjansson was last in the first half.

During intermission a few of us walked around showing close up magic. That was a nice surprise for the guests and well appreciated.

The second half was for our main guest, David Jones from England, which the evening before, had a lecture for The Icelandic Guild of Magicians (Ring 371). He was absolutely brilliant! He was so funny, people were rolling over from laughter and his magic was superbe.

Everybody went home after a great night of magic, extremely happy and in a good moode.
