Hello everyone!

Postby Soulnafein » Nov 20th, '07, 21:46

Hello, my name is David. I started to do magic a couple of weeks ago. I bought a couple of book in the London based shop Davenport.
I bought a book about card trick and the famous Bobo's Modern Coin magic.
I didn't look too much the one about cards but I'm spending plenty of time going trough all bobo's tricks.
Do you have any suggestion about learning path?
Thanks. Bye.

Hi and welcome to TM. Here's a link for a Bobo Study guide that you should find useful http://www.austinmagic.org/sam/studyguide2005.html#mozTocId604077. Also, if you look under "support and tips" there is a sticky at the top of the page titled "what to learn first from bob0". I would strongly reccomend that you check this thread out- Infact read it all, and use the links enclosed in it! I hope you enjoy your stay here at TM. See you on the boards!!

James, 19, Lifelong student of magic and will carry on learning for the rest of my days if I'm a very lucky boy.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

Hi David, welcome to TM.

One of the best books I can recomend is Mark Wilson's Complete Course, a very good book that'll cover lots of different areas of magic.
