Review

There's a lot covered in the 126 pages and he book itself is a progressive course - a sort of easy mans cut down version of Royal Road.

It's a good quality spiral bound book with great quality photo illustrations throughout that's about A5 in size (just a fraction wider). The book begins with some of the basics such as an overhand shuffle, in-jog, glide to name just a few and although they aren't covered in great detail you will certainly get the picture of how these moves are performed. If you're learning then you'll either persevere with the practice and move onto other 'more detailed' resource material or just give up and forget it.

There are some nice routines included which get progressively difficult as you learn more of the sleights but there's nothing more than a three in terms of difficulty but what you will have if you work through is some good tricks that will set you apart from those who keep showing the 21 card trick whenever the cards come out in the pub.

Overall

With Christmas coming up this would make an ideal present for a nephew etc. along with a deck of Bikes but hurry, these probably won't last too long at the price.

You can't go wrong for this price.

Nice review. This book was actually the one that got me more into card magic ever since I found it at my local library years ago.

For learning some basic skills this book is ideal and in my opinion it's also suitable for youngsters (I'd say age 12 and up) starting in cards.

Like Dave notes: You can't go wrong for this price.
