Mcdonalds in Stourbridge has a collection of Stourbridge glass. Well it use to. There is also a train wich was the first train to do something or the other. This is going back neigh on 8 years or so though.

Apart from that its full of brummies that you cant understand. I once stayed in the Travel inn on the Dudley road if you want to see some magic history.

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

I'm in Birmingham quite a bit although it's usually for just a few reasons:

The Birmingham REP on Broad Street have two excellent theatres (a main and a studio); I've been seeing performances there for years, as well as having a play of mine performed there, and they always put on a fantastic show - definitely worth a visit.

Then there's the Custard Factory in Digbeth... The Factory Club is always good for a night out, or if you fancy catching a live musical performance you've got the Barfly (nearby in Digbeth), Carling Academy 1 & 2 and the Bar Academy. There are many others but that's where you'll usually find the bigger acts.

The Bullring's got an incredible amount of shops, although I tend to use it mainly for the Apple shop and Borders (they stock MagicSeen). And on the subject of magic Keith Bennett's got his shop in Oldbury. If you fancy about a thirty minute train ride into Stourbridge The House of Magic is also worth a visit.

That's probably not too useful but hopefully it's of some help!

Yeah, you've still got the markets in the Bullring. Central Birmingham's actually a very nice place, there's a lot of culture.

Let's put it this way, you can tell who was a student in the 80's, by their musical taste and political views.
These days any illiterate chav can get a degree. Thanks Blair!

Back to Birmingham, I did go there once but drove straight through and kept the doors locked. I was told to do this. It's a very dangerous place.
They gave us Jasper Carrot and Ozzy Osbourne.

His Lordship dose make valid point.

Peter cook said on Revolver "The town that made lead poisoning famous."

There is actually quite a bit to do there. My favorite thing is the train to euston.

There are some interesting building dotted about. I wouldnt bother with the other towns around that way though, Dudley and Wolverhampton.
