Very good. The only thing I have seen that's similar is David Acer's Shadeshifter.

That is what's known as a snap change. it has been around a while.
But if you have honestly come up with that without being taught then very well done!!

I already know that the sleight is called a snap change but what i was implying was that the effect it's self was entirely original.

surely that sentence contradicted itself.
doing a snap change isn't orginal so may i ask which bit you think is?
(i didn't mean to sound as harsh as that probably came across, just that i;ve seen this done quite a lot and I'm curious)

Oh yeah  sorry what i meant was the effect that i did was original as it hasn't been created (i think) but the actual sleights in the effect aren't original.

I think the effect you did has been done to death. There are loads of different effects that change the selected card into blue/red or the whole deck changing and your card staying the same

Hmm you seem a bit awkard with the cards actually. The change it self was good. But some of the handling was a bit clumsy the riffle at the start and the clean up move was spotted.

Nice effect though.

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

First of all, the effect is not new, it's old and have been performend in many variations for years.

Secondly, your exact change is pretty good, and "invisible".

My advices for you:

1. Work on your double life
2. Work on your handle of your double card
3. See if you can "ditch" the snapped card ontop of the deck earlier, as it will make it easier for you live, with more angles to cover.
