This is cool and comfortable, rather than pink and fluffy in the strict sense, but here's a little news that I want to share.

The weather's been hot lately, but today I had an air conditioner installed so I am more protected against the weather now. Hopefully no more being unable to sleep at night because it's too hot.

I'm reading some intellectually heavy books at the moment (including George Lakoff's "Women, Fire, and Dangerous Things" and Ian Stewart's "From Here to Infinity"), so no more magic purchases for me until I've finished.

More brown and fluffy from me...
Brought an Axtell chimp second hand last night for my new show, makes typing a wee bit difficult but at least it keeps my hand warm!

I went to a party today! My aunt will be leaving for a tour holiday of the UK this week, so we had a small party to celebrate her imminent departure.

What's pink and fluffy? Pink fluff.

What's blue and fluffy? Cold pink fluff.

(Don't all rush to thank me at once).

pinkish today, whent into an old bookshop and found a rune set in a nice frosted amethist colour similar to my rose quarts knecklace.
the shop owner gave me a second book and bag for the stones left over from a broken set, so bonuses all round.

I'm generally pink and fluffy at the moment, because out of the 8 choices you have to make, I beat the odds to get my first choice of Student Selected Component this term.

Usually SSCs are the bane of my life, but this one's really cool - it's on emergency medicine so I get to hand around A&E and follow exciting cases that come in.

Best of all is that I get the chance to (unofficially) attend an ATLS course (Advanced Trauma Life Support) which usually costs over £500 for free - I don't get the certificate or whatever but I'll still learn some very cool stuff, and if that wasn't good enough, if I volunteer to be a simulation patient on the last day (which I will) they'll even pay me!

It's all coming up Farlsborough!

Not much pink and fluffyness going on at the moment. Well I so am pink and fluffy at the moment. Had one of my effects in Linking Ring (I don't think I've mentioned that have I?), had a lovely lunch at the pub and tonight meeting up with an old friend I've not seen in ages.

Whoa, it hasn't been a pink and fluffy month for people has it?!

I'll get the ball rolling - I'm pink and fluffy because the guitar pedal I was hawking on eBay just went for £77.00 plus £4.50 shipping (it actually will cost that, I'm not ripping anyone off), which means I can afford both coin effects from Merlins I was expecting to have to choose between, and will even have a tenner or so left to even up a bit of an overspend last week. Yay me.

Pink and fluffy because I just ordered a decent suit that should fit great and actually has pockets in it (very unusual for a ladies suit)
