I agree with his Lordship. But the card stuff is good.

You ever heard his radio show Georges of course not Freddies great bit of radio nonsense.

Care to comment on the video I posted, Mark?

This delving into my other interests is rather pointless, since I didn't come here to debate Socialism, I came here as an eager, amateur card magician.

Have a go at me in the off-topic section, for sure, and we'll have a lovely debate. But c'mon, I didn't expect the Spanish Inquisition when I just posted one of my card vids ;)

Well you did put Please criticise me as the title of the thread.

I wholeheartedly apologise for mistakenly crediting a socialist with anything approaching a sense of humour.

Your video was lovely, by the way.

I can't watch the video as I'm in work but....

I notice you're from Leeds and a bunch of us meet up from here about once a month to drink, chat and maybe do a little magic.

Check the thread for meeting ooop north in Events for information and welcome!

Ouch!

Socialists can't not have a sense of humour! I think it's in the small-print or something.

Thanks for all the comments and encouragement :)

I thought it was a pretty good video too. Chicago opener with an ACR routine. I to thought the colour change was very nice indeed

Queen Of Clubs please ignore Freddie and Dini as they do like to think of themselves as right winged crusaders....Bless

I'm not much of a cardie and I had to watch a second time to spot that bit you were concerned about but I'm sure only another card worker would notice or think anything of it. Nothing to worry about IMH (very unskilled!) O  !

That was great to watch!

A few people have already commented on your pass and I have to agree that it is very good, especially as you consider yourself to be a newcomer to magic!

Now you did ask for some criticism and there are a few minor things I picked up on, they are pretty minor so here goes;

I spotted two flashes, firstly you flashed the bottom b***k after tabling the red card, and secondly you also flashed the b***k in the riffle f***e straight after, however they would probably both be missed by a layperson and is just a case of angles and the fact that I knew what I was looking for but I did spot them both on the first viewing and it may be an area to look into.

It looks like you've got a great Ambitious Card routine in the making there and if I'm not mistaken your 'ego' change at the end was spot on! I gave up on that move after about a week as I just can't seem to get it to work as smoothly as you did, I may well start practising that again.

Keep up the great work!

That was an Ego Change and one of the finest examples I've seen in a good while.
