Great to make contact with those in the south! (don't worry I'm not defecting from my northern roots) and I had a great time, I don't think I drank too much but I was defo a bit tipsey I need more drinking practice.

The bar staff were good fun and Triology looks great, certainly fooled all there and I have no idea how they remembered their cards/numbers with 10 minutes between each section.

Cheers for entertaining me guys! No doubt I'll be in London again soon so maybe next time if you can cope

Oh and I almost fell over when I ordered a pint and the guy replied £1.99 I thought he was have a laugh, I've not paid that since student days

we still on for the 5th of april? we meeting earlier? last time kinda went a bit quick, especially after a few sips of gin...

Yes as far as I'm aware we are still on for 5th April.

The theme for this months meet is manly drinks. Therefore any drinkers of non-beer type drinks will be forced to sit alone.

I am also up for a midweek drinkies with agecroft.

If pints are poured I'll be there.

Manly drinks - that counts out Beardy then doesn't it?

Me and Dini are gonna have a 3 ring circus off. It'll be the greatest ring battering this side of Beard's dvd collection, be very afraid.

Maybe the meets are no longer events?

They certainly are events - very exclusive events at that!

The northerners meet up is still in events...hmmm I sense some anti-Londoner-ness (that's a real word ....honest).

So then there has been mention of an earlier start time than last meets 2pm as 9 hours drinking is far too brief.

I could make it for 1pm but 12 is pushing it as I like a bit of a lie in and a mope about on a saturday.

So I can say that I should be at the Lyceum Tavern at 1pm 5th April unless no one else can make it until later

I'll do my cotton damndest to get there for 1 aswell.

Apologies and all that stuff, both Northern and Southern threads deserved their own 'room' and half way through moving things around I had to slope off so it took a while to finish off. Anyways at last, you're both here together so do be nice to the neighbours !!
