Muscle Pass

Postby LambertClan2006 » Mar 14th, '08, 14:21

When performing the muscle pass is the proper way to use your predominant had to do the pass or to catch. I have got my pass to about 12+ inches verticaly with my predominant hand but I cant always get the catch down with my other. I'm sure it is just a matter of practice, just wondering how others perform it.

predominant?

anyway... don't your baseball players wear their catching mitts on their non dominant hands? Surely there's a reason for that.
You could always learn to do it with both hands and see which works best for you but i'd say pass with the right, catch with the left (change left/right over if you're a southpaw there)

Thats what I thought. I just need to get the timing down on the catching. I either close my hand too soon or not soon enough. I was working on it over the weekend though and I seem to be getting better.

Thanks

Yeah I find the catching the harder bit too. It's just timing and practice though really...
