I just wanted to know if anyone who knows the proper name for this trick as i got given it by a magician and didn't find out the name for it, the magician shows 2 metal rings in the palm of his hand, he then makes a fist around the 2 rings and then opens his hand again only to reveal that the 2 rings had turned into 1.
If anyone could tell me what this is called i would greatly appreciate it.

I suppose you could do this with a Jardine Ellis ring, but it wouldn't be examinable - and pretty obvious. How large were the rings? The Ellis ring fills the palm.

Thanks, i looked it up on google and the rings look exactly the same but i just can't see how theses kind of effects can be done with the rings i have, i now realize that what i have is a jardine ring and a shell, are these the two rings they use in the effects?
