[quote="evildead4eva"]Honestly, fantastic. really. WOWOWOWOWOWOW. really impressive trick if done properly, really well made (though no second hand and personally i think that the pointers could be glow in the dark which would be nice).

Here's my review.....

The watch itself seems fairly well made, it's got adjustments that are possible to do yourself on the strap and i found it needed adjusting in 6 notches (though I'm surprised as i have big wrists, or so i thought, so this is obviously made with the largest wrist in mind). The watch seems to keep good time but I've only had it for a couple of days, and with the trick being performed several times the clock has been reset on many occasions. I work on a oil plant and so far over the past 2 days its taken a few knocks and has survived, also has been sprayed with water and was perfectly fine, though I'm nervous about testing it for water resistance. The watch looks nice and wouldn't be out of place with a shirt on. Overall the instructions where a bit poor, but i think that this this trick is pretty self explanatory once you know the basics and can work it into a routine or use it as a trick when people "ask to see one".

Ease of use 2 (1 being easiest and 5 being hardest). The reason i give it a 2 is because the trick is simple to master but requires a bit of practice to make it look really effective.

Rating. 9/10 . The only downside is that the pointers aren't glow in the dark (which i see as a negative) and also there is no second hand. Though these are small faults I'm trying to pick them with a pretty much faultless item.

I will upload pictures if someone can give me a hint to how, or if I'm allowed to link to them online i will if I'm allowed. If someone could reply/PM me about it I'd really appreciate it.

Also this is my first review, so any feedback would be appreciated :)

You can certainly link to or use photos but be aware that it doesn't always work. You might get a message about the file allocation being exceded, or some other techno twaddle like that :? .

Thanks mandrake. I'll take some photo's in the morning when the sun comes up, so it'll make them a little less artificial, and I'll link to them on my Google account. I hope that it will help people as i wasn't able to find many pictures of the watch else where :)

Check it again - I think you'll find the hands do indeed glow in the dark. Mine do, anyway. :D

I use TinyPic to upload photos; works a treat, but remember to resize large photos first!

Many apologies, your right. Just tested it, and the reason that it hasn't for me maybe because it hasn't been exposed to light... i don't know if that will make much difference but i work night shifts... haha. held it up to a really bright light for 1 minute and now it glows :S don't know if that is because of no light or just coincidence. thanks though. :)

I believe glow-in-the-dark hands must first be exposed to a light source like a lamp (or even just ambient light), before they will start glowing. If you left the watch on your bedside table, for example, and wanted to check the time in the middle of the night, you couldn't. (Unless you eat lots of carrots or sleep with the light on, in which case glow-in-the-dark hands would be superfluous).

As an aside, I was wondering how the dealers have priced this watch at £90-100 when I paid £40 for it from eBay; mine is brand new and exactly the same as the dealer's watches. And the people I purchased it from didn't just have the one watch. They sell other magic items, too, and have sold several Master's watches this month alone, so they obviously have plenty in stock.

I'm not having a go at any dealers here, so please don't anyone flame me! I'm just curious because £50-60 is a big difference.

Just got mine (Black, leather-strapped version), and my first impressions are....this is an EVIL piece of kit

Completely blew my wife away (and she's a bit cool on Magic/Mentalism), even though she knew I'd got a new watch in the post, so it had to be 'special'.

Put it this way - I'm not a watch or jewellry person (haven't worn a watch in twenty years!); this thing is going to be on my wrist every day from now on, it's that strong an effect.

Coupled with the fact that I got mine second-hand, for an amazing price (thanks, ID - you're a pal!!), and this has to be my 'buy of the year'.

Yeah - it's an old-hat effect now, having been out a few years. Know what, though? I don't care - I freakin' LOVE IT!!

It's great, isn't it? I've been getting some great reactions to my performances and the more you use the watch, the better you'll get at working the magic. ;)

I've got my patter down now; I got the idea from a post in this thread and I find it works a treat and takes the heat off the watch. PM me if you're interested and I'll send you a rough script.

One more thing, Rob. If you don't normally wear a watch, make sure your friends get used to seeing you with it on before you start performing it, otherwise they might get a bit suspicious if you suddenly start showing them this great trick with a watch that you don't normally wear!
