Nice little collection you have there. I counted about 54 decks and many of them look like they're still sealed and wrapped in sellophane - I don't know if I could resist the temptation to open them on arrival! I considered collecting playing cards once but then decided my money would go to better use elsewhere. Each to their own. I hope you didn't pay too much for the black Ghost deck!

Nice that u noticed that. They are all sealed and i wont open them, even if I have been close to do it :) I have a few doubles too, so i can use one of them he he. I payed $350 for the black ghost deck if i don't remember wrong.

I used to collect cards but eventually after moving house a number of times that went by the way.

I really couldn't resist opening them if i was you. If I was collecting again I would get my favourites framed.

Beuty that is not seen is no beuty at all.

Cheers for showing them to us anyway. :)

Interesting collection..Have you thought of getting an un-machine cut sheet of playing cards (if thats correct terminology?): basically a printed deck that hasnt been cut into playing cards so your getting them all on one sheet of paper? Im afraid I dont know the link, so someone cleverer than me could post it, but Im 99% sure its made..Anyone continue this post for me?

I also collect cards but not just bicycle. I started off collecting the ace of spades and the joker with an idea to eventually get them all framed. I had a modest collection building up. Then people found out and started giving me decks of cards new used all types and sizes. So now I have a carp load of cards. One of my goals for this year is to sort through them and keep the ones I want and give the duplicates or ones that just don't interest me to a hospital or something. Probably ones with flowery designes or the airplane cards.

I don't really collect decks as a hobby, but I do have some that I've bought just for the sake of having them, like the pastel coloured Bicycle cards in green, blue and pink (which, by the way, are rubbish - impossible to use for magic due to the face/back border colour conflict) and the Ghost deck, the Shadow Masters and the Bicycle Democrat 2008 deck (couldn't resist - I have one I've used and one that I'm keeping unopened incase it becomes worth something in 90 thousand years)

I also have the 1800 deck with the aged look. Again a pointless deck, but pretty to look at for 12 seconds until you realise to your dismay that you've become the sort of person who looks at playing cards and you quickly put them back in the box and get on with your life... ;)
