Thought I'd better stop lurking and say Hi.
Hi.
I'm 28 and have dabbled in magic in a small way since I was a kid; in fact, I was very into it for a couple of years til I was about 12, then the guitar and rock and roll took over
. But I've maintained an interest in watching it for ever since, and learned about one trick a year throughout my teenage years.

At the start of this year I was in hospital for a couple of weeks and traded tricks with another bloke on the same ward (the TV wasn't working
), and suddenly found myself interested in performing again. So I went and had a fish round my local charity shops and found a hardback Mark Wilson's Complete Course, which I'm currently working my way through.

I have 2 resolutions: 1. To learn to performing standard at least one new trick a week. 2. To *not* be my social circle's "Magic Guy".

So: I've been away from the art for a while, but it's lured me back now.

Right, I'll pack in rambling and get back to practicing. Maybe the DL will look right *this* time...
