Talking of the solstice, in Latvia they celebrate with the "jani" festival—a beer and cheese binge (fact!)... sounds blooming good to me, and I wonder if we could hybrid-ise it: Starkers—except for a flower wreath, with a pint in one hand and a lump of Brie in t'other, running around Stonehenge and screaming at the sun.

Man oh man, I wish I'd have been around in the 60s & 70s

I believe most of those alledged visitors are 'bots gathering info for Google and similar places and they seem to be more active during the later part of the UK day and evening.

As for thrashing around naked for the Solstice, I thought I'd give everyone a welcome treat and keep my kit on this year.....
