I never knew that the box was an edwardian shirt collar case, untill one day, id got on a train to do a gig, and sat opposite this guy.
he sat there smilling at me, and i thought.." hello...maybe my lucks in."
he leaned over, tapped the box and said.
"I know whats in there.."
I thought "No... you dont".
"its stiff collars isnt it!"
"Er ...nope.....Playing cards."
it was then that he told me that he was a legal guy in the city,, and the box was original used to carry judges stiff collars.
"Facinating" i thought, as i realised my luck was thankfully, not in....
