And almost any southern Rock song, again most of which I don't know the lyrics too, (and mine are much more interesting) if not nonsensicle.

New album this month and the promos sounded alright, would be nice after the last few albums.

They certainly have and I'm really liking what I'm hearing of it at the moment. Sounds like they're going back to some good fiddle based music, which has really been lacking in the last few albums.

I blame Radiohead for all the dreary earnest oh-woe-is-me indie drivel that we're subjected to these days, Stereophonics included.

I suppose that's half true. You can't blame the band. Gotta blame the idiots that take the lyrics too literally. Radiohead are actually quite a happy bunch.

mr. bell - you should blame the movement "shoe-gazing" for that...

anyway - for those you like the levellers, (i don't personally) but if you do, and also like led zep, you may like this:

After slagging off Radiohead, I'd better lay my cards (tarot of course) on the table.

The Snake by Al Wilson.
Ghost In My House by R. Dean Taylor.
Fly Me To The Moon by Frank Sinatra.
Saturday Night Fish Fry by Louis Jordan.
Oh, and anything by Louis Prima.

Well you didn't expect it to be anything normal did you?

My musical taste is extremely eclectic. I like heavy rock like Slayer, Pantera and Rage Against the Machine, but I also like stuff like Nick Cave, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Springsteen, Dylan, The Pogues, PJ Harvey, Eva Cassidy, Tori Amos...

I sing along to anything from those ones, especially when mortally drunk.

Nude by Radiohead. Also Reckoner, but I can't quite hit the top notes.

Also, Ten Miles to GO on a Nine Mile Road by Jim White and Crackity Jones (crack crack!)
